ᚠᚱᛁᛃᚨ, or Frija in Old Norse, is the goddess of love, fertility, and war in Norse mythology. She is the daughter of Njord and the twin sister of Frey. She is often depicted wearing a cloak of falcon feathers and riding a chariot pulled by cats or bristle-boars. Freya is associated with the beauty, fertility, and abundance of the natural world, as well as magic, divination, and death. She is also known for her skills in battle, leading the Valkyries and choosing who will die in battle and who will live on to fight another day. Ultimately, Freya is a complex and multifaceted goddess who embodies both love and war, beauty and death, and both the natural and supernatural worlds.
